Azeitão, is a Portuguese parish in the municipality of Setúbal, with an area of ​​69.32 km² and 21 022 inhabitants. Its population density is 303 inhabitants/km².

Azeitão is formed by the former parishes of Azeitão (São Lourenço and São Simão), better known as Vila Nogueira de Azeitão, Brejos de Azeitão, Vendas de Azeitão and Vila Fresca de Azeitão. They share the name "de Azeitão", due to the extensive olive groves that, in Arab times, dominated those parts.

In 2014, Azeitão cheese was considered one of the 50 best gastronomic products in the world, being distinguished by the Great Taste Awards, organized by the Guild of Fine Food (Ireland), known as the Gastronomy Oscars.
